RE: What does the future hold for Humanity - Romantic Relationships!

in #future7 years ago

A lot of us are waiting in the hope of that 'someone' who could probably make true all the cliched stuff that we hear about romance .'Someone who knows me better than myself', 'Someone who knows me to bits and would complete me', ' The one who understands my silence', 'The one before whom I could lay out my most vulnerable self without absolutely any inhibition', so on and so forth. The problem lies in the fact that we hold the other person to such high expectations that we ignore the basic human flaws, the tendency to go wrong, and the different perspective (resulting from his/her experience of life) with which the other person sees the world. The harder we try to believe and live the 'two bodies, one soul' concept, the more elusive it becomes. The other person doesn't love you any less if he failed to understand your intentional silence or erred in finishing your lines. It is time we acknowledge the differences that make each of us the way we are and lower our unrealistic expectations while exploring the different hues of love together.
