Ok, I know the thumbnail and title gave it away but @gamerpool wants YOU to introduce yourself! We would like to get to know the community and what it is that you guys actually want.
So what we want you guys to do is write a post (Long or short) about your "Gamer " self.
If you do not know what to write about have a look at the pointers below :)

--My "Gamer" self Introduction --
So when I was maybe 5 or 6, My dad decided to buy me and my sister our first ever gaming console - The Playstation 2.Can you guess the game we played for hours on end?... CRAZY TAXI ! We played countless hours everyday. Good chance we were addicted! Anyway that started me off in the gaming "world" and got me here today! (Wish it hadn't sometimes, The amount of controllers i've been through is crazy!). Anyway enough of the past - What games am I looking forward to?Well, Since im a Fifa fan boy its a given that I cant wait for Fifa 18! Although I am also looking forward to Farcry 5!

I've first gotten into games since I was about 3 or 4 years old. I first started playing games like civilization, wolfenstein3D, alladin and that sort of games on my parents 286 based computer.
Then I sadly fell out of the gamer world for a pretty long time since I attended a boarding school so I only had an laptop, but even then I found a game for myself. Everybody's favority - World of Warcraft - man have I sunk way too much time into that game.
Right now, I'm actually a video game reviewer and let'splayer - you can check my content @kralizec and I mostly enjoy indie titles to be honest these days. And I also love Rocket League.
Right now the game I'm looking the most for is Pyre - from the developer of Bastion and Transistor.

I have always been a gamer since birth. I may not have known until I got an atari joystick into my hands but faith brought us together. I first ever played good ol' pacman and was extremely good for a 5 year old. Nintendo was already out but my family couldn't afford until the snes came to be! I went on to have the best love affair with Super Metriod until the end of time.
Then the 2000s hit and out came diablo 2. gaming post
Here we are today. Married, with a child and still loving video games. I currently play Diablo 2, Paladins (steam), League of Legends and a few others.
(post about it)I would love to win a copy of rocket league just due to the fact my brother @spbesner just got a free copy by buying a graphics card with steem!

Thank you! The gaming scene is huge too. So if these tournaments I'm going to be hosting make enough "noise" this could be great not only for the gaming community but for Steemit itself!
I use to play quake like crazy, lol. That was serious back in the day.
I can't wait for The Last of Us 2 to come out.

I've been a gamer since I was 7. I used to set up D&D dungeons for myself; couldn't get any friends interested lol. After that it was Everquest, Runescape, Socom, super smash bros, the whole shebang! Borderlands 2 was my drug of choice by the time I got to law school. Then I built my PC...
For the most part, I'll play any game that is teamwork oriented but I'm pretty biased towards tactical team shooters and real time strategy war games (like Wargame or Total War) I'm an experienced squad leader for games like Arma, Project Reality, and Squad. Otherwise I just like to have fun and make folks laugh every now and then
I love pretty much anything competitive, I love rocket league and counter strike. But I can't play MOBAs I suck and I don't think they are fun. I also like co-op games as well.
I'm interested to see what kind of competitive gameplay you bring to Steemit. I've never played in a gaming tournament before, but it sounds fun.
My start to gaming was when I was about 6 on the Super Nintendo. Me, my brother @lokii and our very close friend @onlyoneman would play for hours, sometimes days.
This is the platform that I found my favorite game ever, Earthbound. This was an old school RPG(now) that had an amazing plot and equal parts puzzles and humor. It was challenging and engaging and had me laughing the whole time.
Then came the PlayStation home to my second favorite game Final Fantasy XII. The amount of content in this game blew my mind. Coupled with some of the hardest puzzles in any game to date and a plot that made you feel like the characters were a part of your life, theirs no wonder that this game gets high marks on every best games list.
Then came the PC which got me started on first person shooters. Firearms, a mod for counter strike, will always be a special game for me. The amount of time I've spent in front of the screen playing that game would make all but the most hardcore of gamers put down their controllers and start looking for a job.
As far as games I would play in tournaments, FPS like COD would be my top pick. Puzzles would also be something that would appeal to me.
