Futuristic Mutated Raccoon Taking the Stage in 2018
THQ Nordic has now shown a new game, this time we get to experience an open-world post-apocalyptic kung fu fable, named Biomutant. The studio behind the new title is no less than the Stockholm-based Experiment 101, led by Stefan Ljungqvist (ex-creative director at Avalance Studios, previously made Just Cause).
The official website of the game tells us more about what players can expect us when it is released sometime in 2018:

"unique design lets players change their character's abilities and appearance with powerful mutations, bionic prosthetic's and weapons. Grow claws, sprout wings, or attach a robotic leg - each choice will impact the way your hero plays in real-time combat that blends melee martial arts and firearms."
We should therefore be able to mix and match body parts by mutation (hence the name), and these changes will then affect how we play. Running around and playing with both firearms and mixed material arts while mutating our futuristic raccoon/cat, sounds ambitious enough. And it will only get better when it is apparently going to be played in a post-apocalyptic world with an array of imaginative creatures, different movements, strong colors, jet skis, mechs, paragliders and much more.
Kung-fu cat with a giant sword and guns? Yes please.
It is scheduled to be released in 2018 to the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
