What are you playing?
Anxiously awaiting Ashes of Creation's Alpha 2 access. A key was given to me for a birthday present a couple of years ago. The release date is promised to be Oct 25 which is one day before my birthday, ironically.
In the meantime my MMO itch has been scratched with some Shroud of the Avatar play.
I have no idea about those. The last game I spent serious time on was Half Life, but that was when the kids were little. I just don't find the time now.
They are both MMOs. AoC will not be access-able (in alpha testing) until October, yet SotA has been around for some time. Kinda OG in the MMO genre. It is described as being a "spiritual successor to the Ultima series". [1]

That is one attraction with me for AoC. It is not only an interesting ever changing world but seems like it may capture that real RPG aspect of being able of being away from game play for some time yet one can grab your character sheet (in this case log in) and pick right up with your character's development.
The world may have changed in your absence yet so would a table top GM throw some curve balls at you when coming back to their game.
