I've played so many good games in the last 14 years that I really couldn't make a sincere list. I would type some games, remember another one, modifiy the list, remember again another one, modify again, etc...
Starting from Dying Light's atmosphere and ending with the Shadow of Mordor combat...naah...fuck this... I can't.
Hell yeah! Dying Light is pretty damn awesome, the level of detail in that game is amazing. Haven't played too much Shadow of Mordor, I definitely need to play a bit more (Its on my list of games to play)
Dude, Shadow of Mordor's combat system it's just ADDICTING! I don't know but somehow, that game transfers directly to you the power of the character. And that was confirmed by a friend who came to me after 5 or 6 days and told me this:
"dude... since you told me about that game, I spend at least one hour a day to slain fucking Uruks like a maniac. It feels so damn good!"
Haha that is brilliant, well it just went on sale on Steam, and I picked up a copy (as per your recommendation), so I'm going to be having a lot of fun myself "slaying Uruks like a maniac" :D
Oh, I can't wait for your thoughts. I am currently playing Witcher 3... Which is a very good game (although I don't understand the love for Gwent. For me it's practically a bad implementation of HearthStone lol)...
The only game it came close to the feelings that Shadow of Mordor gave me regarding the combat system is Black Desert (believe it or not lol).
