Fascinating post- I have had pluots before but I haven't even heard of the apriums or nectaplums! Also, what I would give to try the one with cherry in the mix!! Question- what size was your nectaplum tree when you planted it 2 years ago? I would definitely want a fruit tree in my backyard! Upvoted and resteemed. Thanks for a fun, inspiring, and educational read!

The cherry one is interesting. I've tasted it at a Farmers Market, but it tasted mostly like a sweet plum to me. Size: the best is to plant bare root trees (a rootstock grafted with the type of fruit tree you want) in the early springtime. You can get them from most plant nurseries.
Thanks @donkeypong. I am still shocked that after only a few years you can actually get some fruits! So encouraging!
I was rather shocked also, but these trees grow fast.
