Yes, you rights, in Russia there is no dialects. But people from different areas "sound" differently. Some especially distinguish the letter "a" or " o " and many other features. When I worked as an interpreter, I worked with germans. At the Institute I taught Hochdeutsch, so I understood them. They spoke 2 words on Hochdeutsch and dialect. These words sounded absolutely differently )

yeah it is easy to hear who is from Moscow or from Siberia :D .. hahah I can imagine that it is hard to understand different dialects but after a while you was getting used to it?
