The Queen and her elixir!
According to the Queen of England the answer is simple.....
A Gin Cocktail in the morning and Evening. Why might this be an answer to a long and healthy life?
Alcohol is not exactly the healthiest thing for your body, but if you don't overdo it, it can provide health benefits and the Queen is a living example of this.
So what makes gin so special? Well, gin is largely made from juniper berries -- the fruit of the evergreen shrub juniperus communis.
High in flavonoid and polyphenol antioxidants, the main ingredient of gin is excellent at fighting against free radicals, responsible for cellular damage, ageing and numerous cancers.
It's also beneficial for those with sore throats, respiratory infections and muscle aches and pains and some researchers believe it improves blood circulation, reducing heart and liver disease.

For some people, it's gin, for others it's sex...There's a lot of old people who have weird habits and contribute their longevity to that. Sausages, peanut butter, smoking...you name it. I think if you're healthy, eat well and not too much, you'll be fine.
LOL! Being stupidly rich helps a bit too!
That's pretty good to know! haha
I can't believe the Queen really said that - mostly you hear bad things about alcohol, but I guess it really must have health benefits :)
I'm pretty sure that this all depends on how much and how often you consume alcohol! You should always make sure that you don't overdo it. Thanks for sharing!
Now do a post about the benefits of beer :D
Everything has it’s own pros and cons. Most likely gin is awesome right? Last week in our city in Slovenia just opened a lounge called Gin House and it’s dope i must say. Looks like gin is really a elixir of life! Nice post :)
Hahaha! Now a good reason to stick to gin! I gotta show these to my Mum too. LOL
Super interesting! I’m more of a wine or cider girl but now I want to try gin 🤔
