My double standards part one is on blogger when I talked about Mahakaali and her followers. Today I m posting second part. Here it goes.
DEALING WITH DOUBLE STANDARDS PART 2 :
We have so many deities in India which are worshipped by people having different beliefs and different culture. But all these believers and followers prove to be hypocrite. Shani dev is also a well known popular deity in India. He is known as got of justice and worshipped widely. He has God many followers in Hindu religion. These people from outside show that they are die heart fans of Lord Shani and they are his biggest and greatest devotees but what comes out when we do a reality check? Are they really the true follower of Shani or they are just bluffing? In their words they describe themselves as Shani bhakt but are their actions doing justice to this? Let's move to the reality. Shani is Lord of justice. And I found somewhere that Shani teaches a lot of things and one of them is that after attaining the age of 12 years a child is responsible for his own decisions. This age is popularly known as teenage. But these followers can't get this straight into their head. When they find out that their 15 years old daughter has a boyfriend they force her to drop out of school and sit at home ruining her entire life. Her entire carrier and dreams. All are gone. All she is left with is closed walls with a roof. She is not even allowed to get out and breathe fresh air. How can these narrow minded bullshit headed people call themselves Shani bhakt. Who gave them this right? You call yourself someone's follower but when it comes to his/her teachings all beliefs die? You believe that he will miraculously heal all your sorrows and pain. Day and night you lie down in his feet with your hands folded. You offer flowers, sweets and money to him/her at the temple.
What kind of following is this? Your god says that you don't have any right to take anybody else's life in your hands. You have no right to ruin anybodys dreams. But you don't listen to him despite the fact that you call yourself his biggest follower or devotee. What kind of loyalty are you showing towards him?
Do you really think that he will be pleased by your flowers and sweets? If you thing so then you are entirely wrong. There is a reason behind his position and superiority. He has the capability to show paths to humans on how to live your life. That's why he is placed in the temples and you are lying in his feet. So, if he says something and you are following him then his teachings are meant to be followed by you. He will be more impressed by you if you offer him your way of living in a more decent and humane way. The way he shows. You can't please him by giving him his own flowers but you can please him by following his teachings. Hindu beliefs are very beautiful and can make life a paradise if you understand them completely.
heartfelt, religion these days is just a mere attribute to people, most say and dont talk and this cut through all aspect of religion, it should be a way of life and not just a book of laws quoted and not acted upon.
Its a shame when people call themselves a believer and a follower of a god still show no example or live by the path and nature of their master.
not all but some of the rituals have good intensed logic i think
Very true and i feel all these rituals are only to put us down and not to point out on you.
Rituals should be understood properly
m not much of a believer so i have nothing to say on it...but every person has his own way of looking at this world and one should respect that ...things go bad when people force there wishes on others
Bro add some pictures to your articles to make ur post more attractive.
@himanitokas I believe, by means of this story you are venting out your anger. The parents generally want the best for their child. They should have never asked the girl in your story to drop out of school, and at the same time it is the duty of the girl to respect the wishes of her parents.
I'm not venting out any anger but parents could have handled it in a better way dropping out and ruining the life is not a good idea

There is a pure truth lying !!
But the thing is that.. a true guardian will guide even if the child is not following his/her ways!!
Yes you are true
Nice post dear
Some rituals are good but some are wrong. Things have to change according to time
And those who refuse to change with time they get destroyed by time
yes, @himanitokas I completely agree with you.
Also I want to mention that People do many things in the name of God by saying that God himself did this, but they should not place them into the place of god just to satisfy themselves or to punish someone.
For example - Krishna killed his maternal uncle to bring peace on earth. The same way people punish others in the name of god but they shouldn't. As the lord was able to lift a mountain on his little finger in the time of crisis, But No one is able to do that, So no one should do anything by saying that the Lord has done the same thing. We should pray to our gods and help each other. That's the real religion for me.
@himanitokas
I believe little images on the post might make it more readable and interesting. Just an advice
Yes I will upload images next time
