Hi,
I wasn't lucky enough to grow up on a farm (city guy here) so I was wondering why the large cow has a chain around it's neck? Never saw that before.

Thanks for taking the time to visit, read my post, and make a comment. :D
Hello there, I was a city gal myself until we moved out here and bought our homestead almost 12 years ago. :D That's a good question, its basically their collar, all the cows have them on, we tried the cloth collars that they had at our local feed store but they kept breaking them and getting into the feed bins, and other things they shouldn't have, so we had to go with something sturdier. :D Its a nice thick chain and we use it to stop them from getting into the other cows feed when they're stuck in the barn all winter, they've only broken the attachments like the quick connects that we hook them to in the barn, but thankfully those are easily replaced and none of them have broken these collars, yet, LOL. :D
Please feel free to stop in for another visit or to ask other questions any time. :D
God bless you. :D Have an awesome day! :D
