well, elizabeth, I am sorry you feel that way

If it makes you feel better, the rat skeleton is plastic ;)

Happy Halloween!!

Hmmm now I want to make something even more gruesome than that picture. LOL. Not a fan of Social Justice and trying to force their ideal fantasy of world upon everyone else.

That FAKE rat is just so cruel. It's almost like you stuffed and mounted a real rat while making it's flesh somehow not decay.

ROFL

I dont she she is a SJW, btw

I WISH I had done this, but it was a pic I found on the web...here are others in the same line, if you are thinking about a Halloween party

...you're not a fan of social justice? Like, you prefer social injustice? Or anti-social justice? Surely not anti-social injustice, because that's a double negative, and would therefore be the same as social justice.
(that's how math works)
:P

I don't believe in social justice. I like justice just fine. Yet social, and mob rule I don't give a shit about.

Social moires can change.

Anyone can be offended by literally anything.

An important lesson in life is learning that life can be offensive and how to move forward.

Social Justice these days is like trying to bubble wrap reality and FORCE certain opinions and ideas as the accepted ones.

It also is pushing the idea that offending someone is tantamount to punching them in the face.

People can be offended by anything. The concept is idiocy, and lunacy.

TLDR VERSION: Drop the "social" modifier and I like justice just fine. Justice is based upon facts and laws, not on opinions. When you add words to JUSTICE it modifies the meaning. Just like adding the word FAKE to something like NEWS modifies the meaning. So drop the word SOCIAL and I like it just fine.

I hope this doesn't offend you, but you seem pretty sensitive about this. What happened to you that gave you this impression of social justice?

That is a common response about sensitivity. You can't really tell sensitivity very easily from what I wrote. Nice try at deflection though.

What happened is called critical thinking, and reason. :)

I simply realized awhile back I wasn't doing people any good by trying not to offend them. Unlike a lot of idiotic society these days I realize that being offended is part of life. We have to learn how to deal with it. We can answer it with words. We can try to challenge it. Yet we shouldn't be given special privileges, rights, or laws to make certain others cannot offend us. A bird flying over and shitting on your shoulder can feel pretty offensive. It is called life.

So if people live a sheltered life where they try to protect themselves and others from any form of offense then they truly are being coddled and treated like toddlers and don't learn important life lessons. Mainly that life goes on just fine after being offended. :)

Ok. My question is, what do you mean? Why do you think social justice and hypersensitivity are synonymous? "Critical thinking" is what I think I'm doing, but you don't. And it's what you think you're doing, but I don't. Let's get some clear examples to argue about instead of these generalities. When I say, "social justice" I mean, "people should have access to the resources that will help them survive and thrive in society, without restrictions based on their identity"
What do you mean by "social justice" such that it offends you?

well maybe i was over reacting it did look real and upsetting though.i apoligise for my reaction and hope your competition goes well.

I understand, and sorry to upset you. I don't now about how our holiday traditions stack up against Scotland, but a fair amount of our Halloween contingent (me included!) goes for the creepy look; it varies from person to person, and a lot of people do go for the cutesy version of Halloween too!

No hard feelings ;)

It made me hungry. What kind of meat is that?

looks like prosciutto or gabba gul (capicola). greasy waxy extremely tasty versions of ham!
