Can you believe that this is Scotland?!
We had a long trip that day! We took the ferry from Oban to the Isle of Mull early in the morning. From there we took a bus to Tobermory because there was no space for our car on the ferry. The vibe at Tobermory was kind of like Oban. Here are some photos I took there:
We walked to the Isle of Mull Cheese Farm for breakfast. Sadly, they did not do tastings of their cheese at this time of the day, however, we could organize a little sampler anyhow. In all honesty, it was the most beautiful café I have ever seen. The baked goods and the coffee tasted amazing as well! It was quit a walk up to the farm, but it was a hundred percent worth it!
After this, we took the bus back to where we landed on the Isle of Mull, just to take another bus in the opposite direction. These were not short bus rides! Every route took us like an hour so that it took us about 2 hours to get to Fionnphort on the other side of the island. I also took some photos from the bus ride:
At Fionnphort we had some lunch at The Creel Seafood Bar while enjoying the beautiful weather and an amazing view:
The second ferry of the day took us to Iona. With the best weather one could hope for we started our walk to the White Beach. We did not have a lot of time so that it was a short visit, however, the views were great:
(Looks like the Caribbean)
On our way back to Fionnphort we also saw some dolphins! Sadly, I was not able to capture them with my smartphone due to the short time we saw them. Now, it was time for our way back to Oban where we had another night in our Airbnb. After another ride with the bus and the ferry back to Oban, we were exhausted from this trip. Here are some more impressions:

(Entering Oban)
Having learned our lesson from the last night at Oban, we booked a table at The Lorne Bar. We wanted to eat some bar food and drink a Whisky after this long day. The food was all right; however, they had a big selection of Whiskeys:

We returned to our Airbnb and just fell asleep. We planned driving to the Isle of Skye the next day. This was another long drive…
Wait for the next post!

I must say that Scotland is very beautiful, a place I have always wanted to visit and never had the chance, I am a fan of castles and I think Scotland is full of them!
We just went to the Edinburgh Castle for the concert. But there are a lot of castles I guess 😃
