I'm new to steemit but I figured I'd start out with a challenge.
I'm 5'10 36 years old and I stand 178cm .
My starting weight on Sunday June 4 was ~225 lbs on an analog scale.
If you are any good at math you will see that my goal weight is ~150lbs, I think I'll look like an aids patient by that point but we'll see what's possible. Very confident I can lose 48 lbs in 48 days and keep it off.
Who think's I can do it?

It's doable, if you have willpower you can do it, but do not do this. While you're mildly overweight you don't look no 300+ lbs, which means you cannot do this easily at all.
That means you'll be in starvation mode this whole time, causing all sorts of issues and deficiencies. In 72 days you would be extremely ill and depleted unless you had IV supplementation or very careful planning of everything and even then you should be monitored.
If you do it hit up the Broccoli, general vegetables, and actually just eat vegetables. Maybe some soybeans plain beans would be okay.
It'd be the only way you actually make it whatsoever.
What issues and deficiencies do you foresee? Thanks for looking out by the way!
The secondary goal is to get to 10% body fat where I started at ~30%, what is more healthy, being obese or getting to an ideal bmi rapidly?
I'm not taking a multivitamin, just some water mixed with lemon juice, potassium, himalayan pink salt and apple cider vinegar.
Meals thus far have included Bacon Chicken Ceasar Salads, 2" thick Ribeye steaks with baked potato n all the trimmings and ceasar salad.

I've done a lot of research and have people advising me that have done this already. Please consult your local drug dealer, I mean doctor before attempting something like this. :)
I'll be honest, losing 1 pound a day is doable but should not be done unless you're under observation by doctors. Extremely rapid weight loss can cause serious health problems.
If i recall correctly the fattest man in the world, on a stricly liquid diet under medical supervision didn't lose weight that fast.
You should aim for something much more achievable like 3 pounds per week.
What serious health problems would you be concerned about? Isn't being obese more of a health concern?
I am not a doctor, but as the other guy said down there, you are not fat enough to lose this much weight this fast, your body will be starving and when bodies starve they do really nasty stuff, like cannibalizing muscle tissue for example.
If you really want to try it, i strongly suggest you talk to an ACTUAL doctor so he can explain you why it's a bad idea thanks to his 10+ years of very expensive and extensive education.
I get it, being fat sucks, i'm even fatter than you, i want to lose weight as much as you do, but don't bloody kill yourself to fit into smaller clothes.

I don't starve, I eat very well, I won't be losing any strength or muscle, if so then that is my body tellling me when.
Everybody is their own best doctor, if I run into complications medical assistance is not far away. People who love me are keeping a close eye on me.
I'm doing this as an experiment in self control, not to fit into smaller clothes.

Blain, to lose weight you'll have to be technically starving.....to lose that much weight you WILL be starving. 1kg = 2,5lbs or thereabouts, 1kg = more or less 7000 calories. You're talking about running a negative 2500 calories a day diet. To achieve that, you either don't eat, or you eat so little and exercise so much that it would be considered a war crime.
I'm not a doctor but i've worked for a couple months in a hospital....i've seen people trying to do what you're planning that ended up in the ICU. Talk to a dietician.
I'm not your mother, your father or brother, i'm just someone with empathy and common sense that doesn't like people harming themselves.
You are correct, I'm running a caloric deficit but I do eat, quite well actually, and I don't exercise. :)
I could go to the lab and get scans or blood tests to ease everybodies fears and shock them at the same time I guess. Which ones would satiate your concern?
