Air purifier plants, make your home pollution free

in #health6 years ago

Among all the pollutions, air is one of the candidates. In a survey it is identified that Air is included among the top listed 5 pollutions.

Whether you are at home or outside, pollutions are everywhere.

At least, can we minimize air pollution at home?

Yes, one little effort can minimize air pollution at home. Some plants having the air purifier capabilities. We know many plants like-Boston Fern, Snake Plant, Garden Mum, Spider Plant, Dracaena, Peace Lily, Bamboo Palm etc are well known as air purifiers.

I have few air purifiers. Below pictures sharing with you all.

How it works?
There are many unwanted and harmful air particles in the air. In the naked eyes these are not visible. Air purifier plants suck these particles during taking carbon dioxide and make air fresh.

If you want to plant these plants at your home, you can purchase it from your nearby nursery.

Always remember, a small initiative can make big difference and keep us healthy.

Thanks for stopping by.

HI!....Please,the plant you named "SNAKE PLANT" is it not the one called ALOE-VERA plant?

No, aloe vera plant is different one.

NASA recommends five plants among which are the three that you mention. In Venezuela, the snake plant is called Bolivar's sword or mother-tongue. I have the potus or money plant in my house. I will look for the others to purify the air of my environment.

You are correct. Thanks.

Thank you for interesting information. @dindar
I love houseplants, but most of all I like Ficus Benjamina и Spathiphyllum.

I wish you a great weekend )

You can have some air purifier plants. Thanks for your nice comments.

I think it is a great idea to purify the air naturally. I have several of these plants in my house just for this reason. Thank you for sharing this.

You are most welcome.

I'm wondering how effective plants are for purifying air, how many plants does one need, what kind of pollutants does it help against except CO2? Perhaps, if living at some place with reasonably fresh air at the outside, simply opening the window may be more effective?

I think I've read that there are research showing that having some plants around may affect the mood in a positive way. Dunno, but I do keep some plants around me in the office.

You are correct. If we get fresh air by opening the window that is enough. But some of the places air is very much polluted. And my city, Dhaka, is one classic example. You will find rarely any tree and fresh air. Good to know that you have some plants at your office. Apart from sucking CO2 it also makes your body and mind fresh when see green plants in the morning entering into the office room. Good idea, I am planning to have some plants in my office room. Thanks.
