Idk man that's a really interesting thought. There are plenty of cultures that have had breakfast routines, but the American idea of it is certainly overkill. Maybe they just hijacked the trend to an unhealthy extreme. It's plausible.

You should try it out, I cant believe how much better I feel all the time.

I have recently started looking at the benefits of fasting. I, also, have been looking at the Paleo Diet.

Maybe, I should combined the two. :)

Meat stays in your system too long to fast in this way.

I do this, I feel so much better just eating later in the evening, just once. Don't feel so heavy and unmotivated!
