Yea, I don't like expensive things and paying a lot of money for possessions. I would rather live a simple life and be free to do what I need to survive and little more.
To be honest if there was a chance for me to live on an island and start a farm I would do it because I used to live on a farm in Mississippi when I was younger. I spent about 10 years there and loved it. We hardly ever needed to go to the store for anything because we had everything and grew everything we needed right there at home.
The animals provided meat, milk, eggs, and all kinds of things. The garden provided us with just about everything else.
We even used a wood burning boiler to heat our water and our house. It was an amazing experience even though it was a lot of work.
I would rather live that type of life than a life where I need to work a job making someone else money while I only get a little bit to survive off of.
Don't get me wrong, I have a good job and I make a lot more than I need at the moment but I would rather have a simple life instead of a life where I have to make money to survive.
Maybe I will adventure outside of the USA and find a place like the one I dream about... although I am unsure if that opportunity will arise.
@Timbo
I think @timbo that is a great way of living. I see myself moving somewhere in Europe let's say In the next 3 years. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate everything you wrote. 🌞
I'll get the welcome mat ready :)
HAHA
I just freshly laundered it this morning :) Hee-hee!
Thank you very much for the appreciation.
I am unsure where I can find such a place as what I want to live. I have been looking for several years. Who knows though, maybe I will find something sometime soon.
It will happen when you least expect it! That's how most good things happen in life I have noticed. :) Thanks @timbo
True, that is a good point. Things usually do happen after you stop trying to make them happen and often when you even forget you ever tried to make it happen in the first place.
