A friend who is a fitness guy told me that when I pee, the colour should never be yellow. He said at least 2 litres of water minimum. For me, in the winter time its more difficult to drink so much water, since my body is not telling me to. In the summer, drinking 2 litres is easy.

Yes, that is true. It should be clear. It is difficult to keep it that way especially because drinking so much water causes many trips to the bathroom. However, over time, your body will get used to holding that amount of water. Thus, reducing your need to frequent the bathroom.
