RE: How to Use Diatomaceous Earth for Healthy Hair, Nails, & Skin

in #health7 years ago

When I posted this reply I did not notice the mention in the post about the difference between food grade DE and DE for industrial purposes.

I have handled diatomaceous Earth several of times having worked in science research labs for a number of years and it is something to be handled in a fume hood, or by wearing a mask while handling. Since that is the primary context in which I have handled DE, I had to express a 'warning' to individuals handling DE outside a lab setting without safety measures.

I do not know enough about food grade DE to comment. Doesn't sound any worse than talc. More power to you if it makes your meat suit shinier in a way that does not compromise its well being. I wouldn't mind trying food grade DE at least once for these purposes.

Thanks for your input & concern, @ztetrahedron369. We find food grade DE to be super beneficial without being harmful, and hope you will find the same if you decide to give it a shot!
