But really, it could be the last days of my life, none of us knows when that day will come, I could die right now and it would be left for @hendrix22 to press post. I should really stop though because talking about death makes others uncomfortable and you know how I just hate to make anyone uncomfortable by saying awkward truths ;)

I left my neighbourhood!
That's a big deal for me. I haven't been getting out into society much lately (and by lately I mean the last 3 years). I've been loving the Hermit life. Protecting my energy feels good after many years of being forced to be around a lot of people through various jobs, and all the running around...society drains me.
Brendan @hendrix22 surprised me early in the day Thursday by coming home and taking me out to lunch. I picked "John's Lunch" as our spot. It's all the way in Dartmouth (which is even further than Halifax) yet the place has won awards for its food. Very inexpensive, totally small and run down looking building, and the best damn seafood you'll ever have.

Unfortunately the snow wouldn't hold the tree up for them, so they went and got a rain barrel to be the tree's new stand. Good job boys!

It's so great that we live just down the road from each other...ahhh...don't even have to leave the bay. We had taco night and played rummoli afterwards with the kids. Marion's gonna be leaving on a trip soon, sniff sniff, we had to get together before she's gone to Ontario.

Yes, the city takes energy. Your photos show the difference between city life and calm and clean nature. In the city, practically, it is impossible to rest - a lot of people, cars, a lot of activity, dirty air, vanity, and constant race ahead - there is no time to stop and calmly rest. And nature - pacification, cheerfulness, clean air, good mood. You can see life and enjoy life! I, too, do not like the city! I love nature and life :))

Not sure...His momma was a stray who came to have her litter in our garage. She took off way too early and my son raised the kittens. He found homes for three and kept Mr. Frisky. We think he is just a short haired domestic but momma had the look of part Persian...

Not quite. Though, I've spent a fair amount of time out there. Looking at your homestead and @papa-pepper's homestead make me think that might be the direction I want to go. It would be a lot of work, but also very rewarding.

@lyndsaybowes, Yep...You see after 02 days. You catches glorious outstanding captures outside of neighborhood. Best lunch location selected. Is it very cheap-able more than others? Outstanding scenery indeed Harbor location. What's a name this harbor? Lot of cars unloaded harbor area. Both kiddies tremendous job there. Chicken family happy again with good temperature. Couldn't find Mr. Pendock. Nice delicious meal provided and It made me hungry. Kitten is so cute.. Congrats marion.

Yes, the lunch is very cheap for how good the food is. They could make it more expensive, but the owner keeps it cheap, and everyone loves it there. Their food is addictive haha!! :) :)
