I have a huge respect for you as a writer, but it doesn’t mean that I agree with you on everything.
You don't need to. However I do not appreciate the implication that you have the answer to my question but that I am incapable of understanding it. Besides being rude, that's a transparent bluff, and I appreciate dishonesty even less than rudeness.
