Military history leaves us relevant teachings. It is something that goes beyond of a confrontation between groups of power. In order to obtain this knowledge, all available sources must be studied,
particularly concerning the defeated or neutral countries, this because the story is written (or distorted) by the victors.
More than developing good articles about widely documented topics, my intention is to develop articles looking at historical facts from another perspective. An interpretation from different angles of the most emblematic events that took place in each armed conflict. In an explanatory way, in this article I will take as reference The Second World War.

Parte II - Kaliningrad / Königsberg
Source : WikiFIFA World Cup - Russia 2018, Peru and Denmark debuted in the beautiful Russian city of Kaliningrad, , but until 1945, this city belonged to Prussia. At the end of the war, the readjustment of the borders in Eastern Europe supposed the annexation on the part of the Soviet Union of the Polish territories to the east of the Bug river. As compensation, Poland annexed the German regions of Silesia and eastern Pomerania. In turn, East Prussia was divided into two parts: the southern one was awarded to Poland, while the northern part was annexed by the Soviet Union, including Königsberg, which was renamed Kaliningrad, in homage to Mikhail Kalinin. The majority of German residents who remained at the end of the war, estimated at 200,000 out of a population of
316,000 in 1939, were expelled from the city.
