You might already know the Popsicle ice cream brand. Around Venezuela, this brand is known as Tio Rico. Why? Beats me. A few weeks ago they launched a new version of their popsicle known as Magnum. From time to time there are new versions of this ice cream and they are usually an attempt to see what is well-received by consumers.
The normal presentations of this popsicle are Almond, Dark Chocolate and Classic. It is a vanilla ice cream popsicle with a chocolate crust. It isn't too big, but it is ok for what is worth. The things that change are the almonds in the crust or a dark chocolate crust. I remember there was one that changed the vanilla ice cream with chocolate. That one was really good.
Now, we have this White Chocolate and Almonds presentation. Mom wanted to try it and I had some money to spare to invite her one. We had to go to several places in town until we found. In a twist of fate, it was at the closest supermarket. Anyways, I bought the popsicles and we had a try.
It is a variation on the Almonds one. The change is in the crust. It is made of white chocolate and it has almonds. My verdict is that the regular Almond one is better. White chocolate has the sort of flavor that doesn't pair well with every nut. At least, not with almonds. Besides, I think it didn't have that many almonds. So after this taste, I'd stick with the other three. This one may go under the radar like other variations of said popsicle.
It was ok for a hot Saturday afternoon!

Sin duda alguna los helados Magnum para mi son lo mejor de lo mejor, el helado es tan pero tannn cremoso. Mi favorito siempre ha sido el de almendras, su cubierta de chocolate acompañada de almendras me fascina 🤤😍
Tengo mucho tiempo sin comerme uno, ver el que tú te comiste y compartiste en esas fotos me abrió el apetito jajaja 🤭 me compraré uno mañana apenas me paguen jajaja

Bueno, creo que estás mejor con el de almendras normal. Porque este deja mucho qué desear con la cubierta. Del resto es igual. Ojalá un día de estos se les prenda el bombillo de hacer uno de chocolate oscuro con almendras. Ese sí lo comería seguido.

Ese no lo comería porque no me gusta el chocolate blanco, pero por Dios… llegan a sacar el de chocolate oscuro con almendras y seré cliente fija jajaja

Que delicia, prefiero el chocolate negro pero acá hay uno que es crema con mango chocolate blanco y almendras, muy parecido a lo que estoy viendo... salvo por el mango... que delicia, amo el helado!

He leído bastante opiniones de este helado, al final cada paladar es un mundo (la parte difícil) y aunque no lo he probado todavía, es totalmente cierto que las almendras combinan mejor con chocolate oscuro. Este helado fuese un éxito quizás, si en vez de se de mantecado, lo hacen se chocolate blanco adentro y cubren con chocolate oscuro semi amargo y almendras. Lo había olvidado, vamos a ver si lo consigo cerca.
Esa es una opción más interesante. Creo que había uno que tenía algo así, no recuerdo. Siempre que sale un magnum nuevo, no dura. Las almendras tiene un sabor muy parecido al chocolate blanco, quizá sea por eso que la mezcla no es la mejor.
