En el mes de diciembre que estuve haciendo un taller de pintura, ofrecí como refrigerios helados de la Heladería Hollywood que queda ubicada cerca del salón de eventos donde se llevaría a cabo el taller.
Me gustó la idea porque como era un evento navideño y solemos asociar esto con un clima frío, pero pareció que venía súper bien.
Ese día gracias al acuerdo que pude hacer con el establecimiento, los helados quedaron más económicos que lo habitual y yo no desaproveché esa oportunidad para probar las nuevas merengadas que tenían en venta y que desde hace un tiempo me generaban curiosidad.
Hoy les contaré como fue todo el proceso para que las prepararan y cual fue mi impresión en cuanto a su sabor y calidad.

In the month of December that I was doing a painting workshop, I offered as refreshments ice cream from Hollywood Ice Cream Parlor which is located near the event hall where the workshop would take place.
I liked the idea because it was a Christmas event and we usually associate this with cold weather, but it seemed to come super well.
That day, thanks to the agreement I was able to make with the establishment, the ice cream was cheaper than usual and I did not miss the opportunity to try the new meringues that they had for sale and that I had been curious about for some time.
Today I will tell you how was the whole process to prepare them and what was my impression of their taste and quality.
Al llegar al centro comercial, pasé por el local para comentarles que ya estaba ahí y que dentro de pocos minutos pasaría por mi pedido.
Preferí salir de los pendientes y el evento y dejar mi merengada para luego de finalizar. A mi hijo le pedí una en otro sabor para que disfrutara en la actividad, pero esta no la llegué a probar por estar tan atareada.
When I arrived at the mall, I stopped by the store to tell them that I was already there and that I would pick up my order in a few minutes.
I preferred to leave the earrings and the event and leave my merengada for after the event. I asked my son for a different flavor for him to enjoy during the activity, but I didn't get to try this one because I was so busy.
Al llegar al momento de retirar mi pedido no tuve que hacer la larga fila que había pues yo había cancelado previamente, así que solo esperé que terminaran de atender a la chica que estaba ahí y comenzaron a prepararme mi merengada. La verdad estaba súper emocionada pues es algo que normalmente no compraría.
When I arrived to pick up my order I didn't have to wait in the long line because I had previously canceled, so I just waited for them to finish serving the girl who was there and they began to prepare my merengada. I was really excited because it is something I normally would not buy.
Primero cubrieron el interior del vaso con chocolate y lo reservaron. Para luego usar un envase para hacer la mezcla de la merengada.
Acá colocaron el helado de base y lo pesaron, pues todo lo que hacen es esta tienda lo pesan para comprobar que todos los productos tienen lo mismo.
First they covered the inside of the glass with chocolate and set it aside. Then they used a container to make the meringue mixture.
Here they placed the ice cream base and weighed it, since everything they make in this store is weighed to check that all the products have the same amount.
A esto luego le agregan el contenido de un pequeño envase que tiene el sabor que escojas concentrado, un poco de leche y ya esta listo para mezclar.

La parte donde mezclan es una maquina que esta a un nivel súper bajo a mi parecer.
Ya luego vacían todo en el vaso que cubrieron de chocolate en un principio.

Así me hicieron entrega de mi merengada. Yo estaba súper feliz y no me fui a probarla de una vez porque quería hacer un video con ese proceso, pero lucía súper bien. ♥

Le coloqué el gran pitillo que me dijeron, y ahora si era el momento de la verdad.
Me gustó mucho, el sabor que escogí era de brownie snickers, tenía un sabor delicioso de chocolate y tenía trozos de maní. Era súper refrescante y no era fuerte en cuanto al dulce.
Me encantó y como quería que mi esposo la probara, me llevé medio vaso a casa jaja llegó un poco derretida pero luego de unos minutos congelando pudo disfrutarla.
Valió la pena hacer esta compra y que chévere que tuve esa oportunidad con precio de regalo para poder hacerlo. ♥
I put the big straw I was told, and now it was the moment of truth.
I really liked it, the flavor I chose was snickers brownie, it had a delicious chocolate flavor and had peanut bits in it. It was super refreshing and wasn't strong on the sweetness.
I loved it and since I wanted my husband to try it, I took half a glass home haha it arrived a little melted but after a few minutes freezing he was able to enjoy it.
It was worth making this purchase and how cool that I had that opportunity with gift price to be able to make it. ♥
