I was 37 and my wife was 36 when years of intense tryings finally resulted in our twins and grand children are something in the far future I think 😉

Wow! So you have twins? 2 boys or boy and girl?
And you must be in your 50s somewhere?
My eldest grandson is 16. The youngest of the 6 is 5 years old.
We have one Einstein, top of his class every year and skipped a standard.
But they are all cute and I love them dearly.

Oh yes we have twins, sorry, but I thought I had already told you. We have a girl and a boy - my daughter is one minute older than my son. She will graduate from school next year and he left school last year, because he's like I was, but I graduated because leaving school was not easy when I was young. Now he is in a governmental program where they help the kids to get a work.
You counted right - I'm in my fifties, actually exactly in the middle 😉
I wonder how my grandkids will be if I will ever have any, because my daughter would prefer a dog she says and my son does not want to have kids anyway, but I said the same when I was 17 ;)

I think most of us said that we don't want kids at that stage lol.
Yeah you are right as I also think that you told me about the twins, but my head is all over the place with much to do. You are about 11 years younger than me lol.
I also left school as soon as I could, as it was just not for me, although I completed graduate studies later in my life. Focussed of course on what I am doing.
My belief is that each of us can find our own way in life and your son is on track.

That's right, but when I think back it wouldn't have been so bad, because I would have been free with 35 when they turned 18 ;) lol
What are 11 years? When you're 100 I'm 89 - that's no difference 😉
I know he will find his way, and I am not forcing him anymore to find something ... maybe a bit ... he will find his way, because he has parents who care for him and he knows that he will not be alone when he needs us.

Yeah, at those ripe old ages we will both be riding Harley Dadvidson wheelchairs methinks lol.
You are right, as some children are blessed with great parents and just a bit of a guiding hand from you here and there will make the world his oyster.
The good thing is that he has the will and as such, he will find the way just like his father did.

Most Harley riders are older guys - much oder than I am, and when you see some of them you might think they should better take such a wheelchair than sit on a bike with two wheels only ;) lol

Oh yeah, 70 years old on a Harley is not a very good idea lol. Traveling maybe at 20 k's an hour.
Our town is known as the millionairs retirement town and it is so dreary to sit waiting for some to pull off at a traffic light.
Government is considering a proposal for a new law that all 70 years and older persons must go for a driving fitness test annually. That means every year and I am sure that many are going to buy their way through the tests lol.
Never a good thing, but such is life.
