Just a bit of ragging you hahaha
You have to admit that it sounded a bit funny hahaha.
In our world politicians have their chaffeurs and about 5 body guards when they ride around.
Maybe they can build a Harley Davidson van for them, just to be in the fashion you know 🤣
Cheers and thank you!
Of course it is fun, I know 😆
My brother in law is the vice mayor of a small village and he does not understand why I'm not interested in politics and that I don't care what party someone belongs to, as long as the person is likable and has good ideas.
I have googled "Harley Davidson van" and found a few nice vehicles, but they are certainly all quite pricey. A politician might get one cheaper or free, of course and therefore vote for a specific new law 😉
Cheers and !BEER
We are the same Sir Johann, politcal parties are for those that are prepared to listen to their lies and no thank you. If you make me a promise and I vote for you and you don't keep the promise. Why then must I continue to vote for you?
No thank you, we are also not interested in the games that politicians play.
Hahaha, I really don't think that they will swop their new Mercedes Benzes for a van my friend. Or their private luxury cars.
I see on twitter that many of the new young female yuppies are determined to buy a new Merc Gelandewagon. Those things cost more than a million here and on the other side of town, the people in the shacks have to go to bed hungry at night.
Something is seriously wrong with our world here.
Cheers and thank you!
That's true - before an election they make so many promises which they forget after it.
No, the'd never change their luxury cars against a van ;) lol
Many young people here drive cars which I could never afford, and they have just begun their work life - some are sponsored by their parents and some begin their life in debt. We don't have that many really poor or homeless people, compared to other countries.
Cheers and !BEER
The big worry that we have over here is that when some of the rich parents of the young kids pass away, the kids have no stability and they end up in deep trouble.
An example here;
A bank manager called me and said that she was worried about a young guy and asked if I could come and talk to him.
It turns out that his parents died in a car accident and they left him 4 or 5 million in their wills.
This young guy got hooked on drugs and he withdrew 300, 000 from the bank every day.
We placed him in a drug rehabilitation center, where he lasted for 3 days and then he ran away.
He dissapeared with his Nigerian drug friends and a few weeks later we heard that he was killed by a Taxi Minibus while walking in the road.
It is a much longer story as we really struggled with the guy, but I have just put it into a nutshell here for you.
You are raising your kids the right way, as they have to become independent and to have self respect.
Of course you are always in the backgroung in case they need help, or advice, but at least they can cope.
Cheers and thank you!
This is a sad story, which of course could also happen here, and I'm sure such stories happen everywhere all the time: there are people who want to help, but the youngster thinks he doesn't need help. The youth today is somehow very different from when we were young, I think.
As said, we try to do our best, but sometimes it's not easy 😉
Cheers and !BEER my friend 🙂
Yes, you are correct Sir Johann, there are thousands of these stories accross the globe and even worse ones.
Every time that I read one, I see that drugs are involved.
The thought is that the youth of today are not as active as the youth of the past, especially due to their IT addictions and they are easy prey for the drug salesmen.
Many of them even brag online about the highs and lows that they experience from taking one or another kind of drug and this also influences others.
You are right in that the youngsters do not want help and if they are pushed to leave the habits they become devious and do it in secret.
Some of them also start stealing and selling stuff from their homes in order to suport their drug habits.
A sad story indeed and the dealers are even active at primary schools.
One can only try the best as a parent and love is so essential. Of course at times things don't go smoothly due to opposing views, but such is life my friend.
Cheers and thank you!
Yes, what you are telling is about the same everywhere and my suggestion would be tougher punishments for the dealers as well as also for the kids, who are the victims, I know, but I think the fear of harsh punishments might scare off many. Maybe I'm wrong, because I don't know any drug addicts and because I have never tried any drugs apart from alcohol, which is a bad drug too.
As much as I love the computer stuff and the Internet myself, I also hate it, because the kids could live for a while without eating and drinking, but without their smartphone they are lost.
Cheers and !BEER
