I can't remember the match but it was a serie a match, the player scored when the Defenders thought it was an offside. VAR counted the goal.
Yes , I remember the Pickford and VVD case , and as the saying goes "What is good for the goose is good for the gander".
Pickford got away with it because the player was in an offside position, hence yellow cards should be cancelled too if VAR cancels a goal. That's a good point.
This makes me also remember the incident in a super cup match between Leipzig and Bayern. Leipzig were chasing the game and a player cleverly placed the ball on the throw in line and to my surprise the Bayern player thought it went out and picked it with his hand 😂.
All am saying is the players might have looked at the lines man Instead of paying attention to the referee and it hurt them.
