Footballers now hit the ball even after the ref blows the whistle for an offside
It’s tear for something like this to happen, I’ve seen in some cases where a football still hits the ball after the whistle goes but the goal won’t be allowed even if he was not offside. Are the situations you have seen?
This reminds me of Miliks goal as you have rightly said 😂.
He taught he had won it for Juventus and was all pumped up. He knew that he would be sent off if he removed his shirt cause he was on a red card but he didn’t care cause his emotions got a better part of him.
I’ve heard some of the Espn pundits claim that this time around they didn’t think Milik was offside and the goal was robbed off of Juventus.
I still give it to them as they fought very hard to get that draw.
So whether VAR cancels a goal or not, the offence is still committed and must be punished
I think one should escape punishment if his goal has been chopped off. This reminds me of the time Pickford injured Van Dijk and was allowed to excape punishment because Van Dijk was offside. So in my opinion I think it shouldn’t affect the footballer.
I can't remember the match but it was a serie a match, the player scored when the Defenders thought it was an offside. VAR counted the goal.
Yes , I remember the Pickford and VVD case , and as the saying goes "What is good for the goose is good for the gander".
Pickford got away with it because the player was in an offside position, hence yellow cards should be cancelled too if VAR cancels a goal. That's a good point.
This makes me also remember the incident in a super cup match between Leipzig and Bayern. Leipzig were chasing the game and a player cleverly placed the ball on the throw in line and to my surprise the Bayern player thought it went out and picked it with his hand 😂.
All am saying is the players might have looked at the lines man Instead of paying attention to the referee and it hurt them.
