Yes, today I had a terrible training.
I expected it, after so much time eating and drinking like an idiot due to the Christmas celebrations it was normal... but, the fact is that this is my third training in the last 5 days and so, I should have burned enough toxins to leave behind some discomfort...
I have to say that, added to my deplorable physical condition, I have trained under quite adverse environmental conditions as well. It has been sunny but , above all, very windy too!
And if you want me to confess something else, I hate the wind...at least while I run.
In any case, I don't want to give any more excuses, I can't hide the reality, 5km in 25'30" is not something to be happy about... but neither is it something to be desperate about.
Soon I will be back to my usual fitness level...hopefully.
Keep on running!

Running in the wind at the track is the worst. I pulled my hamstring last spring running into the wind at the track just on my warmup. It wasn't a terrible pull but took 3 weeks to recover to a decent level to where I could run at 70%.
Exactly, I need a couple of weeks to improve my cardio
My cardio is mainly from playing basketball right now but that has been sporadic. Its below freezing with snow on the ground here so doing the track workouts currently are out of the question for me.
I think the most part of us spent so much time eating and drinking due to the Christmas celebrations. :P My belly said to me that I really need to move my legs and to eat just salads. ^_^
Agree!
yea wind is so annoying generally, nothing good on it
the more one gets old, the more time you need to recover 😂

Drink less, the strong wind has bent these trees. Excellent photography
