Hello, Kindness Rocks community... I hope you remember me? You know, the one who used to write and draw on rocks but then stopped doing it a while ago...
If you ask me why, I can't give you a good answer. 🤷♀ I guess I realized I am not good at it.. but wait a minute, who said kindness rocks have to be perfect?
No one. Not even the admin of this community ever said that. (Oh, that is me! 😅)
In fact, her idea was to transform a thought, a worry, a message, a feeling an idea, etc., into something more positive, something that could bring a smile. Transform a stone that could cause pain or trouble if it accidentally (or intentionally) hits you into the opposite.
Does that take a special talent? Hmm... not at all, although it is always cool to see people capable of painting authentic works of art on the little stones. Well, I am definitely not one of those people, haha, but an attempt, an intention, does count, right?
Enough talk! Let's choose a stone and the fun can start!
Here we have some pebbles taken a few weeks ago from the beach, patiently waiting to be used one day for kindness rocks.
Just a few acrylic markers came to help me. I hope they can draw by themselves something, as my idea was to make a little frog. As I write this I am still not sure how it will go!
You know, there are children who draw a hundred times better than I do, but I will try to survive this post. 😂
So, it will be a golden frog?
Half green and half golden, it seems.
First I draw some lines with a pencil, but when covering it with the colour, the pencil lines are not very noticeable anymore. Here Mr Frog has a green body and empty spaces where he will have his eye and arm. I know these lines are not perfect but he was jumping a lot so that is how it is. 😁
He got the arm and blue lines for the nose, lips and around the legs. The eye is a googly eye, of course!! Too bad it is not self-adhesive so I was searching for glue. All those tubes that I found at home were dry. 🤦♀
No worries, I used a tiny part of folded duck tape - which didn't work out well. So, more searching in the drawers and then I found and used a small part of a sticker. It was ok, although the googly eye is quite big and the surface of the stone is not flat, so it was a bit challenging, but I finally succeeded. The eye stayed in its place!
The colour is shiny and it is already evening here, the artificial light doesn't really help with taking a photo. 🤷♀
However, Mr Frog is smiling. I think he is fine with his appearance; he thinks I am just a little girl and couldn't draw a better frog. which actually is true that I can't do it better lol
He already met Prince Hefromund. They have some important stuff to talk about, I should not be there and listen to their secrets so here I come to Hive, to publish this frog drawing adventure into the Kindness Rocks community. I hope the admin will not mute me and the jumping pebble, this little frog will not jump away from my room. 😂

But she is the most adorable little frog I've ever seen, don't let her be rude to you haha but she already made friends with Hefromund, I think I'm going to love seeing that little guy in your posts haha 😍
The admin won't mute you, the piano queen is very kind and will surely love this little frog, as long as she doesn't jump out of surprise on her bed while she's sleeping 😂

Huh, I had luck then to post in this community where the admin is very kind. Fingers crossed this frog will never ever think about jumping into the piano queen's bed hahaha, that would be very scary 😂 (por suerte allí no hay ninguna cama, solo estanterías, un piano y un armario 😆)
It's funny how we see the things we make ourselves. I always thought you did a very fine job of painting the rocks. They all exuded happiness and after all, isn't that what you were trying to spread around?

That's true, it is not even how aesthetic it is but if it provoked some reactions in others. If it brought joy or at least a smile, then I am happy too 😇
Oh yes, it was Saint Patrick's Day yesterday (sorry for the delayed reply) - one of the students came in a green jacket, green t-shirt, and other green accessories too :D
I had forgotten in the morning yesterday that it was St. Pat's day, but when I remembered while working at my desk, I looked down at what I was wearing and my bright yellow, flowery lounger had some green leaves or vines between the butterflies, so I pronounced myself good. LOL

I have fun with these little pebbles, that is true, and they are all cute in their way, I know. (that I could improve, that is also true 😂)
But if they can bring a smile to others too, then they fulfilled their existence 😊
The frog looked great (my opinion, of course). I only have one doubt, Prince Hefromund was a frog before? The frog is an enchanted prince?

Prince Hefromund XVI (as I called him in full name) is a prince just because I adopted it in Krakow, from the place called The Kingdom. So as he was born in a kingdom, he is a prince :D
Here I lave you a post where more hefroms (these clay figurines that Hallmann invented & made) appear. It was the day and place from where I got it as a gift ;)

Very creative! Lovely frog. I haven't spotted a lot of kindness rocks lately. There was a time I spotted one weekly during my walks.

I also used to see them sometimes on our walks, also there is one house I want to visit again soon, where the fence is decorated with painted rocks - funny little monsters hahaha. Let's see if you find some soon in your walks 🤞

At the moment they are in the same bowl, he didn't escape (actually it is a crystal ashtray but as no one smokes it serves as the bowl for pebbles now 😁).
