It is indeed more common for Free and Open-Source Software to be continuously work-in-progress, as closed-source (proprietary) software (or even open-source but not free to use) can suddenly stop getting worked on when any developer is no longer available to continue developing it. 🤔🤯

Maybe it will accidentally name itself as "autoincorrect"! 🤯🤣😂

Yep, indeed, true, but some projects keep a distinct difference between testing and release versions, which is very helpful for those that require stability. Most closed-source software is also put out to sell, and to do that they also need distinct alpha, beta, and release versions. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
