Yep, indeed, true, but some projects keep a distinct difference between testing and release versions, which is very helpful for those that require stability. Most closed-source software is also put out to sell, and to do that they also need distinct alpha, beta, and release versions. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™
