I think this is the best yet. I can't believe you cut through all that to get to the house.

As for the house...a treasure. Shall I confess that it reminds me of a very old house I lived in years ago? The cut of the windows, the railing around the staircase, the wallpaper!

How can there still be dirty dishes in the sink? Did they have to leave so suddenly?

Just an amazing 'find'.

Tell me it didn't have peeling wallpaper and a jungle running through the inside with creepers? 😀

Who knows why this happens. If there are kids involved, then surely there's someone to give this house to.

No creepers in the house. No dirty dishes in the sink. Wallpaper, but not peeling wallpaper. Here's a shot of the back yard. I have a picture of the kitchen, but it's too embarrassing to post. The house in your blog had a lot more appliances. My mother cooked on a cast iron. As for the front yard...my brother would cut the grass with a scythe when the grass got really long.

I think my house was older, possibly even 18th century. It had a tin roof, and a storage lobby off the kitchen, I guess for hanging dried meats and canned food.

So, yeah, while my house didn't look like the house in your, yours did remind me of mine.
