An abandoned Lutheran church in Podstepnoye, a small village in the Saratov region. The village itself is a former colony of Volga Germans, which is why such an unusual building has been preserved here. The church was built at the end of the 19th century. It was closed during the Soviet era, and a club was opened in the building. In photo number 5 you can see the spotlights left over from the stage lighting. It is unknown when the club was closed. Several times the media wrote that they want to restore the building and use it for its intended purpose. But so far, nothing has happened.

I'm amazed at the thickness of the walls
Previously, they built it so that it would stand for a long time.)
Do the thicker walls help with cold or not?
More likely yes than no. Naturally, thick walls retain heat longer, but on the other hand, they will take just as long to warm up if they freeze even once.
О дааа. Мрачно-прекрасные фото, такое мы любим 😀 Ночью там наверное вообще атмосферно
В заброшенной кирхе я еще не ночевал, только в заброшенной православной церкви.)
How crazy it must be to visit a place like this with so much history and so many perfect sceneries for photos, it seems to have stopped in time.
It is certainly interesting. And if you spend the night in such a place, to soak up the atmosphere of the place... I don't believe in any mysticism and so on, but spending the night in an abandoned church for some reason initially caused a little discomfort.
