The stairway to heaven tunnel is located in the west end of Hamilton. Fed by the Chedoke creek, just below Chedoke waterfalls. It gets it's nickname from a couple of cascades inside of it that look like long staircases.
Last week a friend and I spun steel wool on top of the large room that the creek enters and yesterday we decided that it had been way too long since we had been inside of it (post of spinning steel wool on top: https://hive.blog/hive-194913/@terrywayne/new-perspectives). After thinking about it, it has been nearly 10 years since I had gone inside of it, despite using the other end of the tunnel for photos several times. So we ventured down and had some light painting and steel wool fun along the way!
This place looks super cool, I loved those pictures, they look like something out of a horror movie or something. It is very funny the effect of the aluminum sparks, here we use that in the end of the year celebrations, you just have to be careful that nobody gets a spark on their clothes 😂.
Thank you! And yes lol or on your skin
