Who Would You Like to See Win the US Presidential Election - Trump or Harris? Go On Be Brave!

I'm just putting this out there. I know politics can be very divisive so I am not going to spend long on this one. But with less than three weeks left until the US general election I would like to gauge the political waters at the moment within the Hive community.

So I'm not asking for you guys to divulge your whole political perspectives but if you would be kind enough to simply let me know which candidate in the US presidential election you are supporting I would be very grateful. I also want to know in the comments which candidate you think will win the election.

I don't care which candidate you prefer, this is not about castigating anyone for their politics. We all have opinions and views when it comes to politics, well most of us do anyway! As humans we all share common goals it's just that we disagree on how we achieve those common goals. That's the way it is, although there is absolutely no need for so much division in our world.

So if you would like to elaborate on your politics feel free in the comments. As for me I'm a hybrid I would say, I am a creature of both the left and right. And when it comes to politicians as far as I can tell 90% of them are in it for self enrichment and nothing else. But you do get exceptions and the odd ray of light.

Peace!

I support the one that supports crypto

I can totally appreciate this.

If you hold a gun to my head and say I have to vote for one or the other, then Trump.

Thanks for sharing that, appreciate where you're coming from.

Is this where I sign up to force my will onto my neighbors?

Neither is my choice.

You're right, I probably should have added a Neither option, but hey that's what comments can be used for.

i would have voted for neither as I am not going to vote

I can vote but wont. I struggle greatly with Trump. I have dealt with several narcissists in my life, one in particular, and it made me go deep into looking at the signs, that time spent learning about narcissists makes it hard not to see how little Trump cares about America. Not to say just being a politician doesn’t demonstrate a level of narcissism. I dont trust Kamala in the least.
I just think she will be better of the 2.
And being truthful about it from my own selfish perspective… as a traveler in the world, trump will lead to more people seeing me in a poor light, as if my American self passing through their existenc means i am collectively responsible for the trumpification of the planet. I’m exaggerating and not… last time trump was elected, it just upped my need to have shitty conversations about trump whether accusatory or not.
Kamala being elected will unlikely cause little to any conversation. And that is way better in general for me…

But all these political fuckers from every every side and from every country can get fucked as far as im concerned.

Hey @buttcoins thank you so much for expanding on your thoughts like that, I really appreciate it. Obviously I don't have that US citizen gone globetrotting insight that you have and I can totally appreciate what you're saying in that voting for Harris makes life a little easier for you in terms of awkward conversations. And when it comes to politics you have to be country minded and selfish too, so be selfish!

However, the biggest indicator that Trump is something different and positive different and not as bad as everyone makes him out to be is the fact that during Trump's tenure as US president the world was a more peaceful place. No new global conflicts emerged for the first time in decades and a couple were even diffused, Trump even tried to bring in North Korea from out of the cold.

For me that is huge. As you can see I am all about the peace. So when Trump says he can sort out the Russia Ukraine war in a day no he can't but what he's saying is he will quickly sort it out through diplomacy and end the horrible bombing and killing of innocent civilians, and do you know what? I believe him because he has a track record of deal making and conflict resolution. He likes the peace.

Do you not find it just a little strange that as soon as the establishment politician is back in the White House we have two new major conflicts in the world? That's no coincidence. These establishment politicians like Biden and Harris always need the war machine to be well oiled and fully functioning.

That’s a fair argument. Though I’m not sure how much Trump really had to do with that.
I can empathize with the idea of a candidate that will bring more world wide peace is better.
I just don’t buy that this is what Trump represents.
On the home front, he causes more families to go into conflict than any politician in many years. His rhetoric is division and violence at its core.
Again, I’ll repeat that I won’t be voting for Kamala.
But I do think she will represent more stability for America and the world.
Truth is they are both a double headed monster in this land debate.
That we talk about either of them shows how fucked we all are.
Anyone who wants to be a politician in any country should automatically be disqualified in my view.
Politicians should be the respected people who don’t want to be politicians but their towns people oblige them to lead because of the truth in their nature.
Haha, good luck with that one buttcoins
