RE: Nigeria is a puppy that I'd like to abandon

The center of your discussion reminds me about @revisesociology. That dude packed up and left his normal place of living and is literally building his own way of life. I'm not sure if that would work for your family, but I know his experiences could help you come up with some kind of solution for you. Best of luck.

I also understand the need for supporting the family. It's a hard life electricity or not. You might not be able to enjoy the things they will because you are busy providing those things for them.

You'll get through it especially if you're set on leaving. Would you need to leave the country or continent? What kind of options are you looking at?

Funny thing is that I actually had an extensive conversation with him about his life in Portugal because Portugal is one of our option.

Being a Nigerian is frustrating because not only is it shitty inside, most countries also hate the shit out of us 😄. We're flagged in virtually every country in the world these days.

It's just me and my wife, and we're not making babies any time soon, so we're just saving for our exit. Right now, the two easiest routes is either relocating to Portugal with that their visa for freelancers or save up and pay for a masters for my wife and then move with her as a dependent.
