Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) is a global community celebrating live music on Hive. Each week is a new event, encouraging musicians to share songs with an international audience.

If you are a musician or a music lover, you already know it helps us to tap into our emotions, to feel connected, to process grief, to recognize joy in life, to generate gratitude... These benefits support our health and well-being in body, heart, mind, and soul. Music makes miracles happen—miracles that make the world a better place.
Music Makes World Peace Possible.
That's because music is the ultimate harmonizer. Music is a universal language that allows all walks of life to express and connect. This creates kinship. Sharing an appreciation for music, people of various tribes and nations put differences aside, becoming grateful for each other, and peaceful.
In the Hive Open Mic community, we work to achieve global harmony right here on the Hive blockchain, with live music as our focus. Each and every week, our community hosts 100+ live music performances from around the world. Live music is real, raw, and relatable. Live music is accessible to anyone with a voice. Live music invites collaboration, as we witnessed in our special community-wide creation on the 72nd week:
We are building a musical movement, with a global reach. Our virtual stage is scalable, meaning that it is designed to grow—we can support a growing number of musicians and listeners. And we are already seeing the favorable impacts of the colossal waves we send out into the world. This impact is largely felt in Venezuela and Nigeria, I witness, as these are two of our community's brightest points of light.
Presently, we are in the middle of our 84th consecutive weekly event, with a team of dedicated moderators keeping the high vibe alive. This task is a huge undertaking, and it calls for a heroic group effort. As we continue to grow and flourish as a community, it feels natural to create a new Hive account designed to be a unified voice, devoted to Hive Open Mic. That's why we're launching:

A new profile to support the Hive Open Mic community
The new @hiveopenmic account will cultivate the Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) community. The goal is to provide a virtual stage, spotlight, and safe haven for live music. Musicians receive applause in the form of upvotes, comments, and meaningful connections with fellow music lovers.
Joining the Hive Open Mic community gives musicians a space to perform, reaching a supportive audience that offers enthusiastic upvotes and encouraging words. Joining this community also gives listeners a concert ticket, essentially, so you can enjoy live music wherever you are. We celebrate the live music we hear here with weekly curated concerts, giving special recognition to a "Spotlight Artist" and a "Pillar of the Community".
We welcome all walks of life. Some of us are multilingual, and we recognize that music is a universal language that meets us all in the middle. Some of us are spiritual, and we recognize that music grants us various interpretations of the divine. All are welcomed here. All skill levels are accepted. All musical genres are invited.
@hiveopenmic speaks for the Hive Open Mic community. This will be the singular voice that makes important announcements related to the weekly live music event. This will also serve as a unified mind that will make important decisions that will effect the community. Specifically, @cabelindsay is one person behind this voice, and he is joined by moderators @mipiano, @jesuslnrs...
Music Also Generates Value.
One of the additional benefits we see in creating this new profile is the possibility of distributing wealth among the community. Maybe there are resources we can grant to musicians seeking support in recording an album, or making a music video. Maybe there are physical meetups that can arranged with some funds to pay for a shared meal. Assuming this community continues to grow and prosper, I believe we will have much to share.

Hive Open Mic - Week 84 is underway right now, with the current theme: “En Honor y Amor a Ellas.“ In English, this means “In Honor and Love of Them (Women).“ We introduce new themes every Sunday, inviting musicians to share a common current. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. There is still time to jump in and enjoy this week's Hive Open Mic event!

Btw I was fixing all my Guitars colection with a luthier friend of mine, I give to him all My equipments for maintenance some weeks ago, so cause of that, I don't récord or upload any guitar song or músic posts in the pasts weeks (only drums material for make some tests to My Drumset) but today My Friends comes here to My place and gives me My Guitars again with all the strings and with some improvements with the wood and electric system. So, i'm SO happy and glad today and I going to upload very soon new músic material for Openmic
