Ouch! That was a very painful history.
I hear a lot of similar stories from my home town. Know a few who are forced into arranged marriage too.

By the way, you play the baglama wonderfully. 😊

    In our country, arranged marriages made against the will of the couples have been going on for years. People who have been oppressed in the past have been exposed to it a lot. I hope there are no more vicious acts of force like this anywhere in the world.

      I believe that there are still arranged marriage being made in more remote areas.
      If the movies that I've watched is accurate, then, maybe, it is still practiced by rich families, in highly developed areas, to preserve or expand their wealth. 🙂

      Yes, you're right, in some regions rich families do it with this in mind. In some, such marriages are made because of complete ignorance or selfish thoughts of people.
