Gelatos are a big deal for me when i'm in that neck of the woods...
Of course i took pictures of most (if not all) my Gelatos i got during the 6ish days i was in croatia... and yes i know there are more than 6 Gelatos... Don't worry about it!! haha
While other's at HiveFest focused on going to get drinks I scouted the best Gelato options of Split and since i don't and never have drank I focused on being a Gelato Connoisseur and it was amazing.
Sometime i'd even eat Gelato with other people
This is the same Gelato (so don't count it twice) but a cool night shot
I know it looks similar but you can tell it was a different visit by the cup and the placement of the raspberry that i loved very much

The most expensive ones i got on that trip was at this Michelin Restaurant the last night... these were some of the desserts that included gelato/sorbet ice cream ... not actually sure the exact classification. Spoiler alert... they were good but give me a good ol fashion Gelato any day.

Looks like i ate 7 gelatos in 7 days... i think the only day I didn't have one was the morning i left... it's ok because i ate two on another day so final count was 7 for 7 if you're not counting the fancy dinner ones.

If I were to choose between gelato and liquor... I would go for gelato (even in the cold weather of Croatia) unless it's the rhum & raisins flavor, lol
I don't know why there are so many gelato places in Croatia, it was the same when I went to Dubrovnik after Split, but I think by the ones in Split are better. Is the last one pistachio?
Hubs and I had 3 each in each city, so I got to taste 12 all together

Are there any Michelin star restaurants in Split that I missed, or is it just that they are listed in the guide? I remember looking before traveling and running out of options =/.

Omg, 🙀 how could I not join this legendary ice cream challenge, cause I'm literally a die-hard fan of ice cream. in all world I'll always choose ice cream from all desserts, my favorite - the ones that are put on with a spoon and pushed into a waffle cone. and that restaurant had a michelin star? and if you compare it with the street ones, restaurant's one was better?
