That's great advice for your nephews, sis. Wanting to please others as long as it doesn't go against us is fine, but if they don't like us, we have to move on because it's not worth fighting for something that we can't control and that is not in our hands to change.
Not everyone is going to like us and that's life, the sooner we accept it, the happier we will be.
