Very good day to the whole community, today I tell you about a wolf farm located very close to the city of Puerto Madryn, in Chubut, Argentina: Punta Loma.
Muy buen día a toda la comunidad, hoy les cuento sobre una lobería ubicada muy cerca de la ciudad de Puerto Madryn, en Chubut, Argentina: Punta Loma.
The province of Chubut has several protected areas in which you can only enter through the allowed places (walkways and viewpoints), you can not access the beach or walk near the animals. There are signs where you ask to speak in you down so as not to disturb them (unfortunately I did not see that it was respected much) and keeps faunas controlling tourists every day of the year from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
La provincia de Chubut cuenta con varias áreas protegidas en las cuales solo se puede ingresar por los lugares permitidos (pasarelas y miradores), no se puede acceder a la playa ni caminar cerca de los animales. Hay carteles en donde se pide hablar en voz baja para no molestarlos (lamentablemente no vi que se respetara mucho) y guarda faunas controlando a los turistas todos los días del año de 8:00 a 20:00 hs.
Punta Loma is located south of Puerto Madryn, 17 kilometers away, most of the road is reached by paved road and then gravel in very good condition. On the trip we pass by the monument to the Tehuelche Indian, located at the southern tip of the city, on the Golfo Nuevo.
Punta loma se encuentra al sur de Puerto Madryn, a 17 kilómetros, se llega por ruta asfaltada la mayor parte del camino y luego ripio en muy buen estado. En el viaje pasamos por el monumento al indio tehuelche, ubicado en la punta sur de la ciudad, sobre el Golfo Nuevo.
When you arrive at Punta Loma (the road is signposted), you leave the car in a parking lot destined for this purpose and you can walk to the viewpoint, which as it is in height and is a cliff, allows you to see the wolf from above and very close, being able to appreciate all the movements of the wolves and their offspring.
Al llegar a punta Loma (está señalizado el camino), se deja el auto en un estacionamiento destinado a tal fin y se accede caminando al mirador, que como está en altura y es acantilado, permite ver la lobería desde arriba y muy cerca, pudiendo apreciar todos los movimientos de los lobos y sus crías.
I was amazed at the number of offspring they had... as seen in the documentaries, playing with each other and practicing defense tactics as children.... Beautiful. While it is perhaps more closely seen in documentaries, being there live is something unique. In silence listening to their sounds and seeing how they live is irreplaceable! (in the video you can see it as well as the cell phone of a desubicated tourist).
Me maravilló la cantidad de crías que tenían… tal como se ve en los documentales, jugando entre ellos y practicando ya de chiquitos las tácticas de defensa…. Hermoso. Si bien en los documentales se ve quizás mas de cerca, estar ahí en vivo es algo único. En el silencio escuchar sus sonidos y ver como viven es irremplazable! (en el video lo pueden apreciar amén del celular de un turista desubicado).
I never cease to be surprised with the agility they have in the water, they dive and are so aerodynamic that they swim at high speed, doing somersaults ... the day we went the sky was impeccable blue and the blue sea was amazing, a luxury.
No dejo de sorprenderme con la agilidad que tienen en el agua, se sumergen y son tan aerodinámicos que nadan a mucha velocidad, haciendo volteretas… el día que fuimos el cielo era celeste impecable y el mar azul estaba increíble, un lujo.
Let's take note that we are not alone on the planet and take care of the rest of the living beings!
Tomemos nota de que no estamos solos en el planeta y cuidemos al resto de los seres vivos!
