There is Love... and Happy New Year

Out of the layered darkness, came a light...Your beautiful light from within shines through your words and makes my world so much brighter

There is love, and it is real. It is not something I think about all the time, but, when I do, I can feel it, right down to my very soul. It was quite unexpected, but, the moment is always perfect. In the midst of the noise surrounding my day, my best friend called me to tell me she loved me. This happens, and it is always a welcome interruption in my life.

"I love you."

It is always a pleasant surprise. Sometimes, no real words are needed, the message is written on her heart Once, the message was barely there, written in the dew of my windshield. Only then, did I realize how fleeting it can all be, here one moment and gone the next. But, the love? That can linger for eternity, preserved in the essence of it. Take the moment. Stop and smell the roses, even if only for their profound beauty.

I have to listen, to get right down to the very heart of things as it is expressed so very magically, in a wonderful weave of words. Flowers, yes? Always a flower to color my world. #alwaysaflower

Health, happiness, wealth, or peace are all things we hope for our friends and family but love is the only lasting gift we can give or receive. It can't be damaged by time, distance or death. Its giving multiplies its ownership. Love is the smallest gift that can overwhelm the biggest trouble. source

The sun was shining today, it was perfectly beautiful outside. Hoping the new year is filled with peace and gratitude for everything and everyone, moment by moment. Love to all of you.
