Life is full of these gifts. Your post is a great example of that! Life is supposed to be lived, but in our living life, there are these gifts that remind us of just how special it is. Time is constantly running away from us; rather than keep up, we should merely embrace the present moment. Thank you for this reminder to take a step backwards and breathe.

So true. My dad always said, don't just do what you enjoy, enjoy what you do. I am always in this frame of mind: always enjoy life and what you do because in doing that you are alive and well!

Mossie is actively chasing around right now, (it's their 'season',) weavers are starting to practice building a little early, must be the weather!

Mossies more noticeable this time of year, quite a variety of birds still visiting daily for their seed.
I am back for a while in the Cape, and with the cold and rain spells, I see almost no bird life. Sad that they are not showing their faces, but totally understandable.
Birds are there, Mossies love hanging around under roofing, out of blustering gale winds.
