Older we get, cranky things happen, sounds like hubby has completed round of treatments and now on the mend, hopefully back home now not having to journey into the city.

Curve balls appear to knock us around continuously, never knowing what is around the next corner.

I love the little bits of wisdom that is flowing here, it is such an essential ingredient at our age.
Sometimes we are able to prop each other up perhaps having gone through something similar, life is strange, feels very different to what we knew growing up.
How everything has changed, even from when we were travelling in the 70's. I loved it when there were so fewer fellow travellers in Rome and Florence. Not now.
Agree we did travel at the right time, now everything has an entrance fee, and over crowded.
