A story that makes me happy and sad at the same time.
Isn't this the cutest face and the little pink nose
I was in my kitchen washing some dishes - having come back from a swim and had my pareo on. Suddenly I felt something walk by my feet. I nearly had a heart attack and then realised it was a gorgeous little kitten.
Both my daughter and I are generally allergic to cats so I steered it out the front door with a mop - not wanting to pick it up.
A while later, and sitting in my lounge with the glass door open I heard this very loud meowing. Went out to the patio and the kitten was wanting to come down the high wall. At first I said "No" and it kind of seemed to understand and listen.

It wasn't giving up, for a while it kept trying and then went away. In the meantime I spoke to a friend who is the champion of rescuing cats and taking them to be vaccinated. She said that if I was prepared to foster the kitten, all expenses paid, they would ship it off to Switzerland for adoption in November or December.
This sounded like a fun thing to do and since it was temporary I got quite excited and next time I heard the kitten I invited it to jump in and gave it some water to drink.
I sat down outside and it jumped up onto my lap and started kneading - which was painful due to the sharp little claws so I fetched my favourite blanket and put it on my lap. Soon the gorgeous kitten was kneading away and fell asleep on my lap. I put music on (Eden's EDM of course) and had a relaxing time with the kitten asleep on my lap.

My daughter pointed out the little pink nose when I sent the photos and later I noticed that the nose was black - so decided to check it out on Google - Happy to see he was stimulated and excited.
Anyway this kitten was extremely healthy and playful - but obviously hungry.

I called a friend who has a cat and asked if he would mind bringing me a few cat pellets. He was so sweet and brought a variety of pellets, wet food and treats and mixed them all in a bowl and this little kitten devoured it all in seconds.
Later that evening Eden arrived back home from her trip to Amsterdam and greeted the little fellow - played with him a little and left him outside.
6am the following morning he was still fast asleep on the blanket. Later in the day he disappeared and alas he hasn't come back.
I guess I'm relieved because I may have got too attached. I only pray that he has found a loving well deserved home - he will be a wonderful pet for some family.
