When Corvids Ruled the Earth

in Feathered Friends10 months ago

For @nelinoeva's weekly Show Me A Photo Contest in the Feathered Friends Community.
This week's theme is collage.

The instructions said, "it is up to you how to arrange it, how many photos to use and how to make it."

I went all out. I present to you:

WHEN CORVIDS RULED THE EARTH

IMG_0754.JPG

The piece is an assemblage of some the photos I have captured of various types of corvids over the last few years. They include:

American Crow
Northwestern Crow
Hooded Crow
Carrion Crow
Jungle Crow
Common Raven
Magpie
Jackdaw
Grey Jay
Eurasian Jay

Alas, I neglected to include my dear friends the Scrub Jays in this collage. I will have to pay tribute to them another time to make up for it.

The lake in the background is Moon Lake in Alaska.

It was fun to create. Maybe I will turn it into a puzzle some day.

That's excellent! I love it. Although, I suspect it's actually a prediction.

Oooooooo I hope so.
Thanks!

This is really cool, Corvids ruling the world.🙂
And the collage is so awesome.

Oh, yay! Thanks for the tip!!!!

Love the corvids. The grey currawongs kept me entertained when I was in lockdown on my Australian visit.

Oh, I bet! The pandemic was what started my life with crows.

Man. I looked currawongs up and started planning my trip to Australia. It will probably be a few years yet, though. I want to see all the corvids in all the world! lol

Yay! 🤗
