Today afternoon I visited the wetlands of the danube river near Linz and the light on the afternoon was just amazing. This very beautiful light from the winter sun in the afternoon was just perfect for some pictures but the only birds that I could find were these ducks, don't understand me wrong they are also beautiful birds, especially the male but I wish there would have been also other birds that presented themself in the beautiful sunlight. But it is like it is. Now in winter there are usually fewer bird species here in Austria and for some more "exotic" birds i will probably need to wait for spring.
I can tell you, I am already looking forward to spring with great anticipation since I need to test my new camera in Macrophotography and also in some birdphotography when lying on the river shore in spring.
