Shorebirds have always had a special place in my life as a photographer. It was with them that I learned the basics: spending hours in coastal areas, moving slowly so as not to scare them away, and understanding the light on the beach. There were many hours of practice, and, although it was hard, in the end the coast became like my classroom.
Las aves playeras siempre han tenido un lugar especial en mi vida como fotógrafo. Con ellas fue que aprendí lo básico: pasar horas en las zonas costeras, moviéndome lento para no espantarlas, y entendiendo la luz que se da en la playa. Fueron muchas horas de práctica, y, aunque me costó, al final la costa se volvió como mi aula.
