Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 126!
The birds don't just fly in the sky or perch on the branches. They also walk on the ground and search for food there. For this round I want to show me your photos of birds not just on the ground, but In the Grass. Look around and you will see that there are plenty of them - sparrows, crows, jackdaws, doves, finches, tits to name a few. I am sure you will find much more - ducks, swans, seagulls....

Show me your photo of a bird, following these rules:
- The photo must be your own.
- Post in the community Feathered Friends
- You may add more photos, but you should state which one is your entry, otherwise the first will be taken into account.
- Tell us something about your photo/s.
- Your photo must follow the weekly theme.
- Please put the link of your entry in the comment section of the contest post here.
- Put in the title of your post that this is an entry for the contest. (Optional)
- Use #smap as a tag.
If you create quality post with more images and interesting story about them, making extra effort can give you bigger upvotes and attract curators. Keep that in mind.

We had one hour of sun at 7am this morning so I ran to the park to take some pictures for this!
We have had a rubbish July, it has been overcast and rainy!

We have constantly heat waves and the rain is scarce. Temperature is above 35°C and Wednesday we expect 41°C in the town where I work, few degrees below where I live. Oh, there will be some rain and hope not to turn into some horrible storm. Some places in Europe got really tough time, so I should not complain.
It also gave me an excuse to feed the ducks and swans, so I was not complaining.
Yes have reading of all the heatwaves in Europe,but that is the new norm now.
I ask people why they goto Europe in July and August and complain about the heat!
