👉Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 92
I am expecting your funny photos of birds and since I used pictures of redstart scratching with its leg, I decided to show you more photos of this cute birdie.
The Saturday walk wasn't exciting and by the end of it I saw some movement in a tree, where bunch of sparrows were hopping. But this bird was a bit away from them and I went to see if it is something else. You never know, until you check. So many little birds look like sparrows.
It blends with the surroundings so well. Lucky for me, the redstart was not afraid and I had the opportunity of making plenty of photos.
Its curiosity was visible. Look how it stared at me.
Of course, it did not stare at me for long.
Even though the bird was moving from tree to tree, I could keep chasing it and here are some photos of this wonderful redstart.
And at the end it hopped on the other tree where I caught it scratching. That is when I thought of the next week's theme to be Funny Birds.
The redstarts are two types in my country - Black and Common Redstart. The one you see here is Black Redstart and the other one, I think I haven't the pleasure to photograph yet. The colour of the back is not black of my bird, because it is female. Male redstarts have black backs and that is why they are called Black Redstart.
And that's all for now. Have a great day and happy birding!

Oh how wonderful you got to make a lot of shot to that beautiful & cute bird. So nice! Glad you notice something moving in the trees 🌳🐦
Thank you kindly. Glad you enjoy the photo session of the redstart. 🙂
We need to keep the little sparrow beautiful so that it can grow and beautify nature. We really need this.
Yes, we need to protect the all the birds.
Que belleza de pájaro el colirrojo tizón y que buenas fotos tomaste, gracias
Thank you for stopping by. Glad you like my photos. 🙂
lovely captures of the bird what type of lens did you use ?
Thank you!
I have Canon RF 75-300. Probably the worst lens for bird photos. This time I was at the right distance from the bird. Otherwise without stabilizer on the lens, I struggle to focus when the object is too far.
nah not the worst a 8mm fisheye lens is probably the worst ;)
LOL
Still, I cannot invest in better one and I will suffer with what I have. 😀
